14.8.5. `nmblookup`

nmblookup <options> <netbios_name>

The nmblookup program resolves NetBIOS names into IP addresses. The program broadcasts its query on the local subnet until the target machine replies.

Here is an example:

nmblookup trek
querying trek on 10.1.59.255
10.1.56.45 trek<00>
