making bootable usb
Personally I have had luck with Universal USB Installer.
I successfully installed CentOS 6.4 using the "CentOS" option from this software.
However, I tried with the CD ISO and I see you are trying with the DVD ISO.
Its worth a try though.
Cheers

Re: making bootable usb
There are no supported instructions for what you want to do.
You were given a wiki link in post #2. There are suggestions there, but no support.
I suggest you borrow a USB DVD drive to do your install.

Before going any further with this, I would like to know what are the exact steps YOU followed.
Installation with USB installer is pretty straightforward.
If you want support, you need to care to provide proper details.
Information provided by you is in bits and pieces - cannot partition USB???
What kind of processor hardware are you running? Whether it is 64-bit or 32-bit?
Did you run a MD5 / SHA1 checksum on the ISO?
If you don't understand the meaning of the questions above, Google is your friend. :-)
