Hi all
I want to know how to configure wireless connection using Dlink DWL-G22 in CentOS 5. Here are the few stats from my laptop. [root@localhost ~]# lsusb Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000 Bus 002 Device 007: ID 07d1:3c03 D-Link System Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000 [root@localhost ~]# /sbin/iwconfig lo no wireless extensions. eth0 no wireless extensions. sit0 no wireless extensions. Moreover Using network configuration tool i can't find DWL-G22 in network adapter list. So my question is how DWL-G22 can be available in adapter list. Regards |

Looks like it should work with the rt73usb driver. See http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/Laptops/Wireless |

$ grep -i 07d1 /lib/modules/*/modules.alias | grep -i 3c03
Above command execute successfully with no output http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/Laptops/Wireless From above link i downloaded rt73usb rpm ,installed that but not working for me . Actually when i start setting up new wireless connection using network configuration tool i can't find DWL-G22 in network adapter list. So my question is how DWL-G22 can be available in adapter list. I need to have step by step process of setting it up.I would be so nice of you guys if you can help me to set it up. |
