I'm configuring the wireless connection on a laptop with CentOS 5.3 i386. Actually, I just reinstall CentOS 5.3 on the same laptop. When I open System, Administration, Service, the NetworkMangerDispatcher service is not there. Whereas I remeber NetworkMangerDispatcher service should be there (just below NetworkManager).

When I issue the command:
/sbin/chkconfig NetworkMangerDispatcher on
I get the error message:
error reading information on service NetworkMangerDispatcher: No such file or directory.

I check the CentOS 5.3 i386 installation DVD and could not find a rpm named NetworkMangerDispatcher. Could someone tell me which rpm contains NetworkMangerDispatcher?

Leonard.

You would have been better advised to use the current release, 5.4 for a fresh install. To answer you question, CentOS does not provide NetworkMangerDispatcher. \

What functionality are you missing?
