Hi!

When i tried to install Centos 5.4 on my computer i got this error:

This is the problem with i386 and x64 too.

what's this?

The installer apparently has problems with your hardware. The graphic does not give enough information to tell what. Has this system worked with any other OS?

You might try some of the boot options found at http://www.centos.org/docs/5/html/Installation_Guide-en-US/ch-bootopts-x86.html or elsewhere.

Common ones to try include: noacpi, acpi=off, apic, noapic, irqpoll, noirqpoll, nopcmcia, apm=off, pci=noacpi.

Hi,

I also have this problem too.
To resolve this problem, I don't select optional package. on previous install screen
and after that installation work correctly.

If you guys ( my daughter assures me that is a gender-neutral term ) have a way of reproducing the errors a Bug report (including how to produce the failure, error messages, work-arounds, and output of "/sbin/lspci -m") would be appreciated.
