Hello I am new to KVM and interested in playing with the new integrated virtualization features in 5.4 on a x86_64 platform. I have been searching around and because it is so new (5.4) I don't see any good howtos on getting started. All of the WIKI and available information refers to 5.3 and I was curious what the difference would be in regards to deployment. I know that a lot of the initial setup information is redundant because the KVM support is built into the kernel. My goal is to setup (2) 5.4 virtual servers for testing, from what I have read the server is compatible running a quad core 3300 Xeon. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
