i was thinking of satarting my own email server something i can use for service on my tiiny little WM5 pocket PC (Verizon XV6700)
i have Webmin installed postfix, and "send-mail-switch-gnome" and a DynamicDNS canocial name setup ( http://homenas1.homedns.org ) what dpoo i need to do to get it working? how would i add users? im still getting the grip of Linux so any Easy guides? |

First step is to see if your ISP allows you to run a mail server. Many ISPs block the ports required for many different services including mail. If you get past that, then there's the question of if your server is directly connected to the internet or (more likely) behind a router using NAT. If the latter, then you need to learn about port forwarding. Then there's the question of whether your Verizon device can be persuaded to do what you want, or whether it is locked down to Verizon's services. All in all it is likely quite a long shot to get it working.
