Hi,

i downloaded google earth 6.0 (google-earth-stable_current_i386.rpm), and use: yum install command, and i got the error message like below:

warning: rpmts_HdrFromFdno: Header V4 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 7fac5991
Public key for google-earth-stable_current_i386.rpm is not installed

i am new to centos, can somebody help me out? thanks!

The problem here is that since you downloaded the RPM directly (presumably from Google's web site), you don't have the public key that matches the private key used to sign the package. Try this instead:

the installation went through and complete. I found google earth listed under Application, but i try to launch it by clicking on it, nothing launched at all? anybody know why?

If it's anything like the previous version then it requires a glibc library newer than the ones that ship with CentOS 5. There was a workaround in an old thread which involved downloading a copy of libstdc++ and installing it into the same directory that contains the google-earth executable.
