Hi,

I recently installed CentOS on a machine with four IDE drives (hd[abcd]). I keep getting the following error when attempting to create a raid array out of hd[bcd]:

$ sudo mdadm --create /dev/md0 --level=raid5 --raid-devices=3 /dev/hd[bcd]
mdadm: ADD_NEW_DISK for /dev/hdd failed: Device or resource busy

Nothing is mounted on hdd, grepping /etc for hdd shows nothing, and lsof hdd shows nothing. I can't figure out how this drive is being used. Any ideas?
