Hi.

Thanks, I already read some of the materials. I also found this nice tool, called MasterShaper, which allows setting the QOS via web interface.

Now, as far as I understood, there are 2 ways to limit the incoming bandwidth. One is via IMQ devices, which requires a recompilation of CentOS kernel, and the second (more basic, allows only rate limiting) via the included HBT.

I would like to side-step the kernel recompilation as I don't have enough experience in this area. Is there any good example regarding using HBT to limit the rate of incoming connections?
