Re: highest PHP version supported on CentOS 7

Thank you for this useful link.

It will probably answer all my questions about available PHP versions.

[SOLVED] highest PHP version supported on CentOS 7

By default, we get PHP 5.4.

Is there some trusted, maintained repositories offering higher versions of PHP ?

Sorry if this subject has already been discussed, "php" and "version" are not searchable on this forum.

[SOLVED] kernel or/and systemd in debug mode after 7.3 upgrade

Found how to "delete the wrong stanzas".

Do not edit grub.cfg, as it is generated by grub2-mkconfig.

Just rerun grub2-mkconfig.

Feeling less newbie now ;)

Re: kernel or/and systemd in debug mode after 7.3 upgrade

Thank you Trevor. I've set the MAKEDEBUG to "no" in /etc/sysconfig/kernel. Could you be more explicit with "deleting the wrong stanzas" ? I'm a total newbie as far as grub is concerned and I don't want to corrupt my grub.cfg by deleting an entry without updating a pointer to that...

kernel or/and systemd in debug mode after 7.3 upgrade

Hello All, Just upgraded to 7.3. After reboot, my syslog is flooded with message from "systemd-logind". It seems that the "debug" option was active at boot time : #cat /proc/cmdline BOOT_IMAGE=/vmlinuz-3.10.0-514.2.2.el7.x86_64 root=/dev/mapper/system-root ro rd.md.uuid=44ccb56e:...
