I just found sensor viewer which confirms what the actual temperature of that disk is (dev/sda).

I just noticed that gnomes disks program is reporting a temperature of 212 F for my Kingston SSD drive but says overall status is ok. smartctl -i /dev/sda says the device is not in the database.
