Here is the update... Found that kernel re-installation didn't work because OVH custom kernel was running. I've recreated damaged grub.cfg using grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg , then booted using kernel before CentOS upgrade (3.10.0-514.21.1.el7.x86_64). That way managed to reinstall the lat...

/boot/grub2/grub.cfg exists, but found that it is damaged, some text is missing at the end.

I copied it from backup, but yum reinstall kernel reports the same thing.

Should I copy from backup the whole /boot or some part of /etc?
