Re: repeat functions in shell script 2

for i in {1.."$n"} Look out: Bash brace expansion takes place before variable expansion. In this case 1.."$n" will be interpreted as a single string *before* variable is expanded. Conclusion: i will only loop through one single string element -> this is not what you want. Instea...

Re: how can i route all Traffic trought Proxy? How to make a Killswitch?

I want to cut all connections if the vpn connection disconnects. How can i do that? There might be other solutions around but this works for me for ages: 1) delete defaultroute on your vpn client machine 2) add static host routes for every single vpn endpoint Example: ip route add your.vpn.server.i...

Re: How to setup openvpn? and route all traffic trought vpn?

I'm afraid not. So far many vpn providers are not supporting ipv6. This means ipv6 will ignore any ipv4 tunnel setups. The easiest way would be to just disable ipv6. Maybe someone has a better idea. For DNS leaks you need to make sure *NOT* to use your local dns (most likely your router). So you can...

Re: How to setup openvpn? and route all traffic trought vpn?

In most cases you'll go with tun interface. To anonymize your network you must stick with the configuration provided from your vpn provider. tun/tap differences are described here: https://community.openvpn.net/openvpn/wiki/BridgingAndRouting tap0 was automatically created from an server config file...

Re: How to setup openvpn? and route all traffic trought vpn?

openvpn is running on tun3 device which could mean that two other instances are already running. Make sure only instance is running.
What is this tap0 device for?

Re: How to send all traffic throught VPN?

Technically this is done by pointing the defaultroute to the virtual interface. Configuration depends on the specific vpn implementation. Openvpn providers usually providing correct configuration to route all traffic. It would be helpful to show openvpn logfile and output of route -n after "con...

Re: network driver not support

Isn't intel pro 100 working out of the box (e1000 module)?

However, if you still need to compile it yourself you'll need kernel sources:

Code: Select all

yum install kernel-devel
