Found it.
Run dconf-editor. org/gnome/desktop/a11y/keyboard/mousekeys-enable. Set to false and save.

[Solved] Numeric keypad only moves mouse, num lock doesnt activate numbers
n/t. The num lock *key* works as in the corresponding light lights up, but numbers never get activated. The keys only seem to be moving the mouse in tiny increments, no matter whether num lock is on or off. uname -r is 3.10.0-693.21.1.el7.x86_64. Googling threw up https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread...
