Been there and done that... complete with the linux_proxi files, mangled names, a totally non-booting system. While prowling around in Gru...

Re: Dual Boot - Windows is Gone

OK, try to mount your windows and run grub2-mkconfig again: mkdir /mnt/sda{1..3} && for i in {1..3} ;do mount -o ro /dev/sda$i /mnt/sda$i ; done && grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg After that paste the whole grub.cfg file here: cat /boot/grub2/grub.cfg cat /boot/grub2/grub.cfg # # DO NOT EDIT...

Re: Dual Boot - Windows is Gone

Ok, have you rebooted and tried the last entry in grub? Of course you can always run the windows install media and repair the whole PC, but it will wipe grub2 and then you need a custom Windows boor menu. Not quite sure what you mean I have rebooted my computer about 100 freaking times in the last ...

Re: Dual Boot - Windows is Gone

Still have the same problem.

All I want is my windows back. Funny how I can mount the drive and see all of my files, but cannot just open the windows OS.
