Your 26843545600 byte "disk" is actually 25GiB (26843545600/1024/1024/1024). Since that's the size of the entire disk and the default size for /boot is 1GiB, your LVM PV is 25GiB - 1GiB = 24GiB.

I updated virutal box to the latest version
Updated by uninstalling the old version and installing the new version..
yum & curl now works as expected
this might have been a driver issue
