Re: pam_ssh_agent_auth not working
There's no indication at all then on the command line? It just says "Access denied." or something like that? After an attempted login, check the output of the following: tail -n 20 /var/log/secure journalctl -xe These should give you some information as to what is going on in the background. Best, JP

Looking through a few things to verify: 1) Additional packages installed "3.2. Prerequisites for Using realmd .... In addition, make sure that the oddjob, oddjob-mkhomedir, sssd , and adcli packages are installed. These packages are required to be able to manage the system using realmd. " https://ac...

Re: kerberos local authentication not working
I am looking through https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_enterprise_linux/7/html/system-level_authentication_guide/configuring_services to try and find some configuration that may have been missed. I know this states for RHEL7 but I'm comparing with my CentOS8 boxes to see if there...

Re: winbindd service does not start; can't join AD
I am having an issue joining Centos 7 to our AD domain using winbind (that's our only choice; sssd support issues). However, I am getting the error message "Failed to join domain: Failed to lookup DC info for domain 'EXAMPLE' over rpc {operation failed} The requested operation was unsuccessful". Wh...
