The problem is that all CentOS web sites now speak only TLS 1.2 or higher and that wasn't invented until 2 years after CentOS 3 went EOL. I cannot think of any valid reason for using 3.9. I am trying to install g++ on CentOS 3.9 (32 bit), but having difficulty modifying yum.conf to "take" from vault instead of default sites (no more supported).
