More Thanks than I can say.
To all of you who have held my hand and lead me out of the woods on numerous occasions. I wouldn't be the semi-literate computer user I am without your help. I do appreciate it and now with my business closed down and Centos being gobbled by Red Hat I've shut down my network and switched for the tim...

Re: sendmail not masquerading logwatch from localhost
TrevorH
Old habits die hard I guess. Twenty plus years of using it and being to hammer it around to do what I needed most ot the time.
So maybe its time to take the plunge in to the dark end of the pool. I am sure not getting far with sendmail.
Thanks
Jim

sendmail not masquerading logwatch from localhost
Hi Linux ace 3.10.0-1160.45.1.el7.x86_64 #1 SMP Wed Oct 13 17:20:51 UTC 2021 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux. Re: yum update fails
TrevorH Well that answers the "what is qt-settings" but I now wonder why is yum-cron printing those messages at the start of the update and then failing to complete the update, when a command line sudo yum update runs with no errors?? Transaction couldn't start: qt-settings is needed by qt-1:4.8.7-9...

Re: yum update fails
kdpatil TrevorH sudo yum update Loaded plugins: langpacks No packages marked for update The error that occurs appears in a Anacron job message after yum-cron has run. That is the only place the error message appears and the update fails. But entering "sudo yum update" on the command line functions f...
