Re: shim fails to load MokManager

@chassap1,

As noted in https://bugs.centos.org//view.php?id=14050 , @arrfab has built a version of shim that supposedly fixes the issue. Can you give it a try and provide feedback?

You could try something like spice. However, if you need the native performance from your Nvidia graphics device, you'd have to go for dualboot.

Re: /lib64/libstdc++.so.6: version `CXXABI_1.3.9' not found CentOS 7

CXXABI_1.3.9 is associated with gcc version 5.1. CentOS 7 has gcc 4.8.5. If you cannot find the software of your interest that is not linked against the newer version, your best bet will be to use a newer OS such as Fedora.

Re: /lib64/libstdc++.so.6: version `CXXABI_1.3.9' not found CentOS 7

You are trying to install (a) package(s) from Fedora. This usually breaks things.

Re: Centos 7.5: MOK Manager does not show up

BTW, do you know any references which can I understand logic about efi, uefi, secure boot and boot loaders? Some of the links from my memo: https://www.redhat.com/en/blog/uefi-secure-boot https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/GRUB#Windows_installed_in_UEFI-GPT_Mode_menu_entry https://www.happyassass...

Re: Kernel v4.17X invalid signature

As stated in the quoted ELRepo wiki article, "ELRepo's kernel packages (kernel-ml and kernel-lt) are not signed with the Secure Boot key."

Re: Source command not found

It was meant for testing only. Trying to figure out why the source command does not work.
