ahh working now...
i just unplugged everything and plugged it back in and it worked... looked what changed and i accidentally switched CD drive and Hard drive.

tried 2 hard drives
IBM deskstar:
-13.6GB
MDL: DPTA-371360
Segate:
-40GB
MDL: ST340810A
ide rather install on the 13 gb and mount the 40 but its not letting me install on either. Tried a few different IDE cables too. and i can see it with centos 2 and fedora 4.

IDE HD not working
I had an earlier version of centos and decided that 5 would be nice. But it doesnt see my hard drive. 40GB segate IDE. During installation it takes a really long time to search for previous installations and then the next step no drives are listed and i get a drive error when i try to click next. In...
