CentOS

i have Cent 5.1, 64bit, and all I want to run is HTTPD - MYSQLD - VSFTPD. how can I uninstall and turn off all of these other services that I don't need. Things like cups and other stuff that I dont need?

ok. I understand what cron does. . . . runs scheduled tasks every * often. I understand that a cron tab is just a text file that contains tabulated data for the job. What I don't understand is how to make cron tabs known by the dron daemon. I had edited /etc/cron and added a line something like "2 *...
