Hello all,
I have a folder on a web server that I would like to fancy up similar to dev.centos.org. How would I go about doing this? Is there a default template for Apache or a module?

Re: Default FTP Server
Yeah I had already read and tried that FAQ Scott, since it was the only one related to SFTP, but I found the solution and it was actually kinda funny. My server had to be turned off whilst I was away because it wasn't working properly, when I got home it seems an iPhone in my household took my serve...

Re: Default FTP Server
Yeah, I should have been as specific as possible. I've never had an FTP server working on my server computer, that is one of the several things I've been working on the past few months, but I had an SFTP server running that would let me log into any user with a password set (thus my laziness in gett...

Re: Dedicated VNC Server Does Not Work
Does anyone actually have a computer running CentOS with GNOME, and can VNC into that server with the session retained? Maybe you see a terminal and a web browser when you VNC into the server, that's what I want.

[SOLVED] Default FTP Server
So, when I installed my server I had an FTP server running, I thought it was vsftpd. I stopped vsftpd one day though, and I could still FTP into my server. This mystery FTP daemon is SFTP (using port 22), and now it does not work. I've tried enabling vsftpd and I still cannot connect to my server. I...

Re: Dedicated VNC Server Does Not Work
I have the following errors in my localhost.localdomain:2.log now, this is from the beginning:
Xvnc Free Edition 4.1.2 Copyright (C) 2002-2005 RealVNC Ltd. See http://www.realvnc.com for information on VNC. Underlying X server release 70101000, The X.Org Foundation Tue Jun 29 10:11:53 2010 vn...

Re: Dedicated VNC Server Does Not Work
I am correct in saying that I should be able to connect to the desktop preset on my machine currently with VNC right?
I have several programs that cannot run in the background and need console access, so the goal hopefully is to be able to connect to the present session to check on these servers.

Re: Dedicated VNC Server Does Not Work
I can connect to my desktop and it looks fine, but I have two problems: 1) I have a terminal that appears on my desktop every time I connect to vnc, and it increments by one every time I connect to the vnc server, even if I restart it. I have vncconfig -iconic -nowin & . 2) It does not connect to my...
