Re: crash with vmlinux

Did you try to ls that file to see if it exists? Hint: the error message tells you that it doesn't. Try pointing to a file that exists.

Re: Pain with yum update

It's not ipv6 that is the problem, it only tries to use that if it's already tried ipv4 and failed. Fix ipv4.

Re: [Solved]How can I delete the newest Kernel

The Installation of GuestAdditions from /usr/share/virtualbox/VBoxGuestAdditions.iso was in error.

For that you probably need to update your virtualbox.

Re: Pain with yum update

It's not a yum problem, it's a network problem. Yum is trying to connect via ipv6 which it does once it has tried and failed to conenct via ipv4. Check your network connectivity works.

Re: Cant connect to vsFTPD server, timeout on directory listing

Remove the config for the PASV ports and the iptables rules for them. Instead modprobe nf_conntrack_ftp and that does it for you. Edit /etc/sysconfig/iptables-config and add that module to the list to load automatically or, if using firewalld, use firewall-cmd --add-service=ftp not --add-port. You c...

Re: How can I delete the newest Kernel

That's a known crash with no known cause or solution (since no-one knows what causes it). The solution is easy though, yum reinstall kernel-3.10.0-862.2.3.el7.x86_64 as the problem is that either the initramfs file for it is missing from /boot or from grub.cfg. Reinstalling it will fix it.

Re: problem with gnutls

We don't recommend or support source installs. You can find newer gnutls packages in EPEL for CentOS 6: gnutls30.i686 3.5.8-1.el6 epel gnutls30.x86_64 3.5.8-1.el6 epel gnutls30-dane.i686 3.5.8-1.el6 epel gnutls30-dane.x86_64 3.5.8-1.el6 epel gnutls30-devel.i686 3.5.8-1.el6 epel gnutls30-devel.x86_64...

Re: CentOS 7 Update impossible

Once the re-signed ones propagate to the mirror network, they'll automatically appear in your next yum update and go on then. If it doesn't pick it up automatically then you can try running yum clean all to make it recheck for newer package info next time you update.
