Re: CentOS 7 Update impossible

Once the re-signed ones propagate to the mirror network, they'll automatically appear in your next yum update and go on then. If it doesn't pick it up automatically then you can try running yum clean all to make it recheck for newer package info next time you update.

Re: CentOS 7 Update impossible

It's a bug where those packages have been signed with the wrong key - the one for the ppc architecture not x86_64. It's being corrected and will be on the mirrors soon. You can use yum --exclude=scap\* ... until then.

Re: Unable to start Virtual Box in CentOS 6

Probably you need to update VirtualBox. You know that 4.2.38 is pretty ancient? In fact it's not even listed on the Vbox download pages, according to that, 4.2.36 was the last version and it was "VirtualBox 4.2.36 (released November 11th 2015)".

Re: shorter lease times after dhclient update

The running dhclient does use -cf and points to /var/lib/NetworkManager/dhclient-wlp1s0.conf # Created by NetworkManager send host-name "xps13"; # added by NetworkManager option rfc3442-classless-static-routes code 121 = array of unsigned integer 8; option ms-classless-static-routes code 2...

Re: Latest update fails package scap-security-guide

Exclude that package from the update for now. It has been signed with the wrong CentOS key. Still official so not an indication of anything malicious, this appears to be human error. The key in use is actually pub 2048R/F533F4FA 2015-11-27 CentOS AltArch SIG - PowerPC (https://wiki.centos.org/Specia...

Re: /tmp Is Almost Full ?!? How Do I Clean It Up ??

rm -rf * /tmp

Ouch! That is some typo. That will have removed everything forcefully without prompting in the current working directory and the entire /tmp directory and all its contents.

Re: scap-security-guide GPG verification issues

The package appears to signed with the wrong key. I've passed the info on to those that know and can check and will report back if I hear more info. OK, someone just checked through and found that that key is still a CentOS key but it is the wrong one. It's been a busy week :-( pub 2048R/F533F4FA 20...

Re: YUM Fails With Multilib version problems found

You won't be able to yum remove libgpg-error, it'll want to take systemd and yum with it and yum will refuse to let you do that. Use `yum downgrade libgpg-error` to go backwards after disabling or removing the repo and it will go back to the distro copy.
