Re: AD authentication in Samba (kerberos errors)

This problem was reported in 7.4 which used samba 4.6.2. CentOS 7.5 is out and now has samba 4.7.1. Are you up to date?

Re: Restart power-off time

Re: postfix problem on CentOS 7.5 : relay not permitted

IIRC the default postfix config allows mail to be sent to addresses within the same domain as your host machine. So if your machine name is mailserver.company.com then it will accept mail sent to address@company.com but not, for example, address@company.de. You would need to adjust the mydestination...

Re: Packet Tracer Centos 7 error when executed.

See https://www.centos.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=52256 but be aware that it is using non-CentOS packages. Possibly unmaintained, insecure non-CentOS packages. The problem is that this program is built against the wrong version of openssl to run on CentOS. It needs to be rebuilt (by Cisco?) against ...

Re: can we install php 5.2 on centos 7 ?

Re: IPTables help

So iptables rules are processed from the top down and processing stops as soon as a match occurs and a jump is taken to either DROP, REJECT or ACCEPT. Looking at your rules that means for example, and ssh connection from anywhere will hit rule 3 ( -A INPUT -p tcp -m tcp --dport 22 -j ACCEPT ) and ju...

Re: CentOS on i386 using standard DVD, not DL

I'm about 99.99% sure you don't need or want the "Everything" DVD in any case. The ordinary 4GB DVD contains all packages that you can select from the GUI installer. The things that the Everything DVD contains that are not on the ordinary one cannot be selected using the GUI installer so they're not...
