Re: Deleting the entire directory

An excellent guide for users that are new to Linux can be found at http://rute.gerdesas.com - while this is not official project documentation it is a well-regarded general introduction to Linux and may be of help. For an introduction to the bash shell take a look at http://linuxcommand.org/lc3_lear...

Re: Centos 7 and geforce 7025 ?

Install CentOS 7 first. Once installed use the ELRepo http://elrepo.org/tiki/tiki-index.php Getting Started section. Now you can use yum to install the package if you actually need it (perhaps the built in driver is "good enough").

Re: Centos 7 and geforce 7025 ?

You'll need to look at the nvidia website to find out what version of the driver last supported that card. Once you have this information you can check to see if the ELRepo yum repository provides a legacy kmod-nvidiaXXX (where XXX is the version of the driver that last supported that card). If they...

Are you doing PCI passthrough? If not then you can most likely ignore those messages. See https://discussions.citrix.com/topic/32 ... f-ram-4gb/

Re: Help understanding iptables -L

The top set? They look fairly nearly identical to the default rules you get when you install using iptables-services in the first place.

Re: Help understanding iptables -L

Are you 100% sure you're not running firewalld? Those rules look like the ones that it generates - about 500 of them to do what iptables would do in 20! If you are running plain iptables rather than firewalld then you run service iptables save to save the running rules. Those go to /etc/sysconfig/ip...

What is the most recent directory that you have in /lib/modules/ ? That is the version number you need to pass to dracut --kver $version

Re: Help understanding iptables -L

It's ever so much easier to read if you post the output from the iptables-save command. Despite its name it just prints the rules to stdout. Oh, and all those rules make it look like you're running firewalld in which case you should not be fiddling with the rules behind its back with iptables. Firew...
