No, it's a physical server and collegue gave me SSH login and told me it's CentOS!?

How can I make sure/recheck???

Hi there, as I am not a centOS Guru I got stuck with trying to mount a NAS Share via mount.cifs on my CentOS 4 machine. I figured out there's no yum or rpm installed but only dpkg... Anyway it seems that smbclient is installed (smbclient -L works fine)!? Whyever I can't mount via cifs.mount: # dmesg...
