I must say if CentOS 6 is any like SL6 .. for a minimal installation it is smokin' fast.. much faster booting time than CentOS 5.6.... Another "not good sign" regarding the delays happening in the CentOS community.. I am currently doing that..

The configuration that I am currently trying is
- HW Raid 1 2 2TB
- HW Raid 5 4 2TB

using an LVM's

btw,
I did read some other threads regarding GPT, but it did not apply to my issue..

I run about ~ 10 CentOS 5.5 servers and all work without issue..
