In AWS CentOS renames block devices wrong (xvda -> xvde)
This is exactly what I ran into. It is described in the 2nd section at http://www.bashton.com/blog/2012/how-to-make-your-own-centos-6-amis/ and a fix is referred to in udev (maybe via cloud init ... the wording is not real clear). Unfortunately, the SRPMS link is broken, and no other mention is made...

Re: script to build ISO
I'm actually planning to make a hybrid image. That's a file that can be burned to a DVD as an ISO (a double sided one if as large as the existing 2 DVD set) or dd'd to a USB memory stick. I'd probably do this by taking apart the existing ISO and reconstructing it as a hybrid format. The hybrid forma...

script to build ISO
Is there a script I can download which, along with needed files other than existing ISOs, can be used to build an ISO ... or better yet, an image for a USB memory stick (make it bootable) ... which can then be used to install CentOS 6.3 ?

Should that say "Wiki"?
On the search page, an option on "Search in" says "Wiwi". Shouldn't that be "Wiki"?

Centos 6 in the cloud - is this the right place?
I want to switch to CentOS (6.3 since that is new) as the basis for customized images in the cloud service I'm using (specifically AWS, so that means I'm building my own AMIs). The primary question at the moment is if this is the right area (General Support) for sure. I see a virtualization topic he...
