Re: need assistance in configuring vnc server

Hi,

yes x2Go is great, BUT it works only with older KDE or GNOME Versions!

OR you use MATE https://mate-desktop.org --> There x2Go are fully supported (because of its based on GNOME-2).

[SOLVED] Re: Graphical problem on CentOS MATE Terminal Menü...

Hi TrevorH,

thank you for your answer. I was on CentOS 7.3 but I use GDM as Window-Manager and MATE as Desktop. Well, the MATE Desktop was already compiled against CentOS 7.4, so an upgrade to CentOS 7.4 solved the problem, as you said!

Thank you!

Re: Remove grub2.cfg menuentry "with debugging" right way!

Hi, is it the best way to edit /etc/sysconfig/kernel and remove the lines (if present): # MAKEDEBUG specifies if new-kernel-pkg should create non-default # "debug" entries for new kernels. MAKEDEBUG=yes and do as last step grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg Is that right? Thank you for...

Problem using who command in combination with gdm.service

Hi, The who command (with no args or -u) returns the following lines when only one user is logged in via the console: # who (unknown) :0 2016-09-20 19:53 (:0) thomas pts/0 2016-10-01 08:09 (server.example.com) I'm asking myself, who is the user (unknown) ? Re: i915 driver broken in -642 kernel

Hi gerald_clark,

maybe a RedHat developer named Rob Clark can help solving the problem, because in the kernel-doc, lots of changes to i915 stuff, were made by him?

Does anybody have good connections to RedHat ;-)

Thank you!
Thomas.
