Re: Install LTSP on CentOS 6.x
Hi, I ran ltsp-build-client a couple more times. Each time the four files /var/lib/rpm/__db.000X appeared I removed them right away with rm /var/lib/rpm/__db* They then reappeared again shortly after their removal. And I removed them again. After a few times like that, they stopped appearing when th...

Re: Install LTSP on CentOS 6.x
Hi, I also tried rm /var/lib/rpm/__db* as suggested by some web pages, then ran a second install ltsp-build-client (without --arch=x86_64) But it had the same error as in the first installation. It seems that somewhere during the execution of ltsp-build-client the four files __db.001, ..., __db.004 ...

Re: Install LTSP on CentOS 6.x
Hi, I got to the part ltsp-build-client. It ran and completed 78% and bombed out with the error below. I tried reinstalling a second time and got the same error. Has anyone seen similar errors when installing LTSP on CentOS? Thank you. ltsp-build-client --arch=x86_64 Error encountered running comman...

Re: Install LTSP on CentOS 6.x
Thank you! I tried rpm --import http://ltsprepo.s3.amazonaws.com/rpm/RPM-GPG-KEY-ltsp a couple of days ago and nothing came back after pressing Enter, just the Unix prompt only. So I went to another site instead http://www.malaya-digital.org/setup-a-centos64-6-0-ltsp-server-using-k12linux/ Anyway, I...

Re: Install LTSP on CentOS 6.x
Yes, I've looked at those fedorahosted.org/k12linux/ web pages, watched the videos, searched on the internet, .... But when it comes to installing the various LTSP software on CentOS 6.x, they are not available. Thank you.

Re: Install LTSP on CentOS 6.x
Yes, I've looked all over the internet. It seems that they stopped working with LTSP and CentOS three or four years ago. Thank you.

Install LTSP on CentOS 6.x
Hi, I am trying to install and set up a LTSP on CentOS 6.x. I am having problems accessing the files k12linux-release-*.rpm (both 32 and 64 bits; I don't know what the latest versions are) at http://mplug.org/~k12linux//rpm/el6 Has anyone been able to get to this web site or get those rpm lately? Th...

Re: Full installation of CentOS 6.4
They are the people that set up and control the server room. I have rather limitted access to the server room. I asked them about the GUI capability of the KVM switch, but they seemed to be kind of lost. From what I googled, it seems that not all KVM switches display GUI. I installed the additional ...
