Re: UNSUPPORTED HARDWARE - CentOS 6.5 - Intel Core i7-4600U
Considering that yours also says "Detected CPU family 6 model 69", I would think this is a similar issue. Assuming your system actually works fine despite the warning, I'd suggest not to worry too much about this at this time. Recheck the issue with CentOS 6.6 when it released. Hello avij, O.K, tha...

Re: DMESG Log File Timing.?
Hello TrevorH & drk,
Very useful commands,
I'm new what I meant was the dmesg log where it precedes each line in milli/secs..
Does the echo command make it permanent, or just next boot.?
Many Thanks... David

[CLOSED] DMESG Log File Timing.?
Hello,
Is it normal to have no timing showing in the DMESG Log File.?
I just wanted to get an idea of boot time,
with out using BootChart, if that even works with CentOS ??
Thanks... David

Re: Unable to browse network - can ping other PC's
Having both "NetworkManager" and "network" services on is usually worse than unnecessary. The access of a VM guest into physical network is dictated by the configuration of the VM host, i.e. in your case Ubuntu and VirtualBox. Even though ICMP and DNS packets pass through, there might still be some...
