Re: Firewalld Rate Limit ICMP

You can't get rid of the 'burst 5' , so in your setup maximum 7 packets will be allowed for this day. I don't thing that conntracking 'kicks in' , but the burst rule. Also, ICMP is connectionless protocol, so you can't exclude it from conntrack. Try to ping your firewalld-based machine and you will ...

Re: CentOS7 64-bit system network card aggregation model problem.

The preffered method is to use NetworkManager.service .
If you are unfamiliar with the 'nmtui' and 'nmcli' you can always set the configuration files and then just restart the NetworkManager.service .
Also a very nice command is

Code: Select all

 nmcli con show
.

Re: /etc/fstab defaults means also acl ???

Quota and ACL are 2 different stuff, so don't mix them. XFS quotas are enabled at mount time, with specific mount options. Check the rsyslog.service . If the daemon is not working, you won't have any logs captured.

Re: scp - File too large

If the file system does not support files larger than 1 TB , you can always split the file on the solaris11 and then download the pieces to solaris10 and merge tjem with cat.

Re: Accessing an NFS share via another server.

Can you try the following:
1. Mount /data/db to another place:

Code: Select all

mount -o rbind,context="system_u:object_r:nfs_t:s0" /data/db /export
2. Export '/export' to ServerA
3. Try to mount on ServerA the /export from ServerB

Re: Networking issues with VMware interfaces, after yum upgrade

The strangest in your setup is that for example ens192 can receive a packet but there is no route to the source from ens192 ?!? Have you checked your virtualization settings?
