Hey all, I have just started a new website http://easyfreeunix.com for hosting video and print tutorials for free UNIX-like systems. My first addition is a CentOS 5 server installation video series. All the videos are hosted on Youtube, but the website puts them in the proper order.
Lots of people have videos of CentOS installations, but mine are specifically oriented toward a secure minimal installation, with no X Windows. The series also includes post-install shrinking of LVM volumes, installing software by group with yum, and installation of webmin (including the pre-install of perl-Net-SSLeay for immediate SSL use, and the removal of the 'root' user within webmin to make it even more secure) for a uniform method for managing servers.
I would love to hear how I might improve the videos, and what howto's you would like to see on the site. You can register for free on my site and leave me some feedback, or you can leave me some feedback on my Youtube channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/timotheosh1). You do not need to register to see the videos.
A 5 star hangout for overworked and underpaid system admins.
