I joined the devel mail list to see if I could glean anything useful about v6 release and / or help that might be needed. Since I wouldn't know a spec file if it bit me in the nose, there's not much as far as building rpm's and/or patches, etc that I can contribute.

But, the subject of wallpaper (desktop backgrounds) came up, and I thought I may be able to contribute something there. I also thought it might be good to throw the CentOS logo on whatever I come up with so I grabbed one from the website, but I wondered if anyone knows whether there might be a better quality one as far as resolution, etc. lurking on the CentOS 5.5 dvd or elsewhere? The one from the website is only about 5kb (good for web page rendering, not so much for starting off with an image I want to make larger). I found the -release rpm which has the 5.5 desktop backgrounds, but there's no logo there.

I'm not even sure I'll come up with anything usable, but I wanted to give it a whirl... TIA.

I searched, but either didn't request the search for the right place(s) or didn't use the right keyword(s). I figured there was something like that around. Thanks for the link!
