Microsoft aims patent guns at Red Hat

Post by dragonbite » 2007/10/09 18:55:12

Sounds like the drums of war are beginning, either that or Ballmer is being a saber-rattling again!?

Wish somebody would just shut Ballmer up! Maybe sue Microsoft for slander or something *guilty!* :hammer:

Go RedHat! Go RedHat!

any progress about that issue? are they insisting on being a pain in the ...?
That Microsoft world is a nightmare, and the idea of FOSS innovation happening on top of Windows is exactly what I don't want. I want to use non-Microsoft software. I want to be able to use non-Microsoft software. That is my free-will choice. And I want the marketplace to provide me with a choice. Microsoft wants every software sale in the world to be a Microsoft sale. I think they call that monopoly.
I totally agree with the author. And I hate the manufacturers making you "have to buy" a windoze cd along with their product. I understand that they're trying to prevent the usage of unlicensed software but what if I dont wanna use windoze? Where is my free will of choice?
