Hello from Anchorage, Alaska! :-)
Hello,
My name is Rob, I live in Anchorage, Alaska. Originally from Sitka, Alaska.
It''s taken me a long time, but… I've finally learned to create a LAN, utilizing Linux…
I've already learned a lot, I know I've got a long way to go and lots to learn and hopefully be able to contribute back to CentOS in the future somehow.
Don't be shy, say hello…
Thanks and see you around,
Rob Widmark

Hello Rob.
Welcome to Centos forum.
10 years ago, when someone call to my company ask for support, they need to install some software, i came, and poor me, it's a Mac computer. I cant do anything, they ask me about Ubuntu & Centos, and i know nothing.
That's time i started to learn Linux, start with Ubuntu desktop, then Centos server.

Summer of 1990, was my first and only year in Fairbanks… Well, my first & only visit was during the summer for only a couple of weeks.
Our baseball team took the Southeast Title and had to travel to Fairbanks to play for the District Title. Best of three tournament, lost the first game by a lot. We won the second game by a lot, third game was close… But, we lost.
It was pretty smoggy that year, apparently there were a few fires right outside of town.
Was also my first time encountering "Grasshoppers"! Sooooo, many grasshoppers! Bumped into a whole flock of them right outside a convenience store.
That was trippy!
