CentOS & Redhat

Post by fos » 2014/05/04 14:18:20

Now that CentOS and Redhat have joined forces, does that mean that CentOS is going to become Fedora?

Thanks, Jeff

PS. I like the new forum. It is too bad that my old registration disappeared. But that is OK.

Absolutely not. Fedora will still exist and be the experimental bleeding edge with a short lifetime. CentOS will still be the free rebuild of RHEL.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

CentOS 5 and 6 are deadest, do not use them.
