You are asking in the wrong place.
CentOS doesn''t have anything to do with the nux repo.
You need to ask http://li.nux.ro/repos.html or the people responsible for running any of nux's mirror sites.

I've asked nux to step in and answer this or provide me with the answer so that I can supply it.
I don't think we need to be too rule-bound about resources that are useful to the community so I'm willing to allow questions about "good" repos that might otherwise be seen as off-topic.

The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

Not a problem. I just wanted to point out that CentOS has no control over the nux repo, and that nux himself is the one you should ask.
