Hi CentOS Community,
In order to log every executed command on Linux and Solaris and send to syslog daemon (server), I found a script for this purpose that had some serious issue so, I had to patch and improve it. I have installed it on many servers and debugged well. Now my intention is to package this script into a RPM package and publish on net. What are the conditions or requirements to publish a package on main CentOS repository?

Create Package for new Software
Re: Create Package for new Software
To get it into the main CentOS repository you'd need to get it accepted by Redhat and included as part of RHEL.
You'd do better to try to get it into EPEL or one of the other third party repos.

The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.

Thanks for your reply.
I did check the EPEL policy and guide to upload new package. Regarding RedHat main repository, could you give me some hint?
