Perhaps we should all put some 'small change' into a pot and then purchase a scratching post for toracat.

With claws specially sharpened, a New Year's swipe should then be given to z00dax.

Not sure if this is already addressed, but all the wiki stuff is totally unreadable under IE8 (Win XP).

Care to provide a screenshot? It looks quite OK on my Win7/IE9.

I am not seeing how to attach an image?

IE9/10 are upgraded from 8, MS are trying to force people off XP.

I see a large empty screen with just the background and it's way bigger than my monitor. If I scrol down and sidewaysl, I see bit of the web site, but it isn't usable.

The wiki works fine for me (WinXP Pro SP3 IE8 v 8.0.6001.18702)

I'd post a screen cap - but this forum software is too brain dead to allow that to happen.

So it's been months of missed upgrade deadlines on getting a modern forum app - what's the excuse this week for it NOT happening?

Maybe you need to find another person to do the migration if it's beyond the capabilities of whoever it's currently assigned to.

I'm not a rocket scientist (I'm a Molecular Biophysicist) but I'd be willing to give it a crack (after all, the last forum I installed from scratch took a whopping 3 hours - and that was putting the LAMP stack up first).

So almost a QUARTER OF A YEAR passes since the so called NOVEMBER 2012 changeover date and NOTHING (zip, zilch, nadda) except one lame excuse after another.

Is there a new time frame, a new plan, any hope what so ever to get a NEW FORUM?

There's a point where the delays and the excuses slip from being somewhat understandable to just plan pathetic.

What is the hold up?

And why is it dependent on one person who obviously just doesn't care?

If this is a COMMUNITY OS, how about letting the COMMUNITY actually get things done?

Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh, every time I have to log in to post to this POS app I lose a few months of my life in sheer frustration.

WHAT

IS

THE

PLAN

?

It seems we don't have updates on this matter for now. Maybe the developer assigned to the migration is very busy. I just hope someone who knows forum migration and web overhaul might volunteer. Despite the super delays, I still use CentOS. :-)

The page is very poor and some people think that the system is equal, I'd like a site like fedora or linux mint that has wallpapers and be more attractive

Kudos to the CentOS team especially those responsible for the website and forum overhaul. It is worth the wait. :D
