Centos 6.2 VNC error

Post by Kandor » 2012/02/27 17:56:41

I've done a brief search on your forums and cannot find a thread for this so; when I run the "/sbin/service vncserver start" command, I am greeted with the following error:

# /sbin/service vncserver start
: command not foundervers: line 11:
: command not foundervers: line 13:
: command not foundervers: line 17:
Starting VNC server: 1:user [FAILED]

How can I fix this? I have installed GNOME and the tigervnc. Please ask if you need any other information!

Many thanks!

Welcome to the CentOS fora. Please see the recommended reading for new users linked in my signature.

Have you read and followed the Wiki VNC article?

What is the contents of /etc/sysconfig/vncservers - preferably minus comments?
