iU after debian installation

iU after debian installation

Hi,

I have installed dpkg and dpkg-devel at my CentOS OS. Now I have installed a debian package and not this package is in state iU.
Does anybody know what this means?

i = marked for installation
U = untrusted

Installing Debian packages on CentOS is a very bad idea and is highly likely to cause breakage.
