I know where the source of the problem came from , it from /etc/gdm/custom.conf that I edited to enable auto login and messed it up with a caplock of user account name .. I tried booting to single user and mode 3 , and I am still stuck at the boot screen . I also try the live cd to edit it but the privileges system stop me from editing it.
Is there anyway for me to edit it?
can't boot
Re: can't boot
Yes. Boot in single user mode then run `mount -o remount,rw /` and edit the file. After changing it, run `mount -o remount,ro /` and then hit Ctrl-D to continue.
The future appears to be RHEL or Debian. I think I'm going Debian.
