I just came across very interesting situation yesterday.
I wanted to build few low spec vm's under vmware player, so I downloaded minimal iso of Centos 6.6 and create vm with 512 MB RAM.
After successful installation, I rebooted VM (1st reboot) and Zonk
VM get Kernel panic (pic attached). I looked over internet and this looks like issue with LVM.
I repeated this same installation process but setup 1GB RAM for VM and there is no issue.
I did another test. I downloaded Centos 6.6 bin DVD1 iso and use it to create vm with 512MB RAM and there was no LVM issues after reboot (no Kernel panic).
Does it could mean that Centos 6.6 minimal iso have some bug related to memory size and LVM ?
Does someone came across similar situation ?
