On our main network server, we just shutdown the server and removed one of the storage drives, and tried to boot and grub gave error 17. We put the drive back in exactly as it was and we still can not boot. Still get error 17.
I am in a rescue shell off of the disk right now and really would like some help.

Your BIOS may have rearranged the drives or changed the boot drive when the drive was removed.
