Greetings Gurus
I run a number of servers running CentOS 6.6 on a private network that does not have internet access. I maintain a local yum repository "inside" which the servers get updates from.
I rsync the "updates" repo from a local mirror on an internet facing machine, copy this to USB and "carpet LAN" the repo to my yum server.
I want to install XFCE on some of these servers but the only guides mention installing epel and letting yum do the rest. This is not possible in my case unless I can copy up the repo that epel points to (which I can't find).
Google has not been my friend in this case so I'd appreciate any pointers.
Ian
Offline installation of XFCE
Re: Offline installation of XFCE
There are multiple EPEL mirrors that provide rsync. You can rsync from those to create a local copy of the EPEL repository.
