2.6.32-504.12.2.el6.x86_64
Centos 6.6 Final
Installed Centos 5 and 1.5 years later ran yum upgrade. Computer before would occasionally go to sleep and would have to be brought out of sleep with the power switch. If I disable ACPI in the bios the computer still attempts to sleep and fails. Tried ACPIv1-3 in bios and same result.
Removed acpid from chkconfig and computer still tries to go to sleep. Adding acpi=off to my grub.conf and computer still attempts to sleep and fails, freezing at a black screen with a bunch of ATA errors and a message about initiating sleep mode. Changed power management settings via gnome utility and computer still attempts to sleep, even after I disable it.

Re: Can not stop computer from going to Sleep, then sleep fa
This is the error that I get every 4hours or so. Even if I loop a video file on the server it will still attempt to go to sleep.

The /etc/pm/config.d and /etc/pm/sleep.d directories are all empty.
